On August 11th 2011 Bentley Grant Johnson was born at 7:30 am. He weighed 6lbs 9oz and 20.5 inches long. He was a month early, and he had premature lungs, and had to go straight to the NICU. They had to put him on oxygen, a tube in him to help the air to go through his lungs. They told it was going to take at least a week before he could go home. Today is day 4 and he is doing tons better, off the oxygen and the tube that was helping him lungs is gone too. His breathing is normal, we started feeding him yesterday! He is doing great at it! We just need him to eat about an ounce consistently so he will gain weight, and so they can wing him off the iv and then go home!
